Our range is increasing 15-20% annually. In 5 years the effective range is expected to be 200 miles with a charge time of less than one hour!
This innovative technology that is leading the way is brought to you Stevan Hammond and his team. A serial entrepreneur and Project Team Leader, Mr. Hammond has built several companies and invested in several startups. His primary business is in real estate, with companies he has owned and managed for over thirty years.
Mr. Hammond identified that the oil and automotive companies were not developing long term energy solutions but rather focused upon short term goals and immediate financial gain. With this knowledge, he set about identifying the vehicle that solved the environmental and energy problem of the world. He studied all existing technology and concluded that the gas engine is suitable for 10% of the USA consumers who drive long distances or continuously throughout the day. Hybrid cars are best suited to stop / start driving with the occasional long range trip and are suitable to 25% of the USA market. The balance: 65% should be driving pure electric cars as they drive less than 25 miles a day making the pure electric car as the platform of choice to develop.
