Revolution Through Competition

San Fernando Hybrid Alliance

H-Power 95 San Fernando Hybrid Alliance Competition Vehicle will be a four-passenger sedan entered into the Mainstream Class of the competition. It will have a multi-fuel hybrid drive train. The main engine is a two-stage generator/motor, three-phase electric engine and a two rotor rotary internal combustion engine ["ICE"]. The two will be powered through a proprietary method for vaporizing petrol that is then augmented with HHO and a combination of solar and generated electricity. We also will be harvesting hydrogen for electricity generation. We anticipate the range of the vehicle to be in the 300-400 mile rage with an MPGe of about 110-130. The vehicle will be targeted to have a top speed of 120MPH while using the "ICE" and 60MPH using the electric engine. The vehicle will be able to accelerate from 0-60MPH in roughly 10 seconds. We foresee the vehicle’s CO2e emissions to be in the range of 150g/mi+- 20g/mi, which will be affected by what fuel is being utilized and the conditions in which the vehicle is operating.

Team San Fernando Hybrid Alliance expects to meet the 100 MPGe requirements for the competition with a multi-hybrid approach. The use of mutli-fuels will be implemented to gain the positive benefits of each fuel, while diminishing the negative traits seen when these fuels are used standalone. The system is designed to break down the liquid petrol to a complete vaporized state, which is then augmented with HHO to provide a near complete burn cycle thus providing efficient use of the petrol. The electric and ICE is then augmented by the solar and electrical systems to again further increase the use of petrol. Using a limited amount of petrol as the main input of purchased fuel, no alternative fuel infrastructure is required (methane, ethanol, bio diesel, natural gas, etc.), and no electrical plug-in is required (most homes and businesses today do not support this need.)

Smart Compton Hydrogen Fuel Company is our lead sponsor to date. Smart Compton Hydrogen Fuel Company builds hydrogen fuel cells and associated circuits that generate pure hydrogen and oxygen gas (hydroxy gas) from water using a few different controlled separation processes. The hydroxy gas is used to augment or boost gas powered vehicles, which improves MPG, horsepower and produces cleaner emissions. A Smart Compton H-power fuel cell can be put on almost any vehicle... Smart Compton H-power fuel cells create Hydrogen on demand, so there is no hydrogen storage or having to go to a hydrogen fueling station. www.schfuel.com
