Team Bio

Li-ion Motors at EV Innovations located in Mooresville, North Carolina has a belief that the automobile as we know it is about to start morphing into the cars and trucks of the future. Not only will the fuel or energy source be changing as well as the drivetrain, but we will be seeing a total change in the actual structure and component materials that make up the vehicle itself.

Li-ion Motors is hard at work designing and finishing a new style of "smart" BMS that will help to increase the mileage of each charge as well as the longevity of the battery packs and be able to communicate with the repair technician of the very near future. Combined with our new anode and cathode chemistry inside the Lithium battery packs we are striving to build the new form of everyday transportation. Li-ion Motors is working with composite component manufacturing companies to introduce a new type of composite reinforcement that allows for a much stronger yet lighter and less expensive answer to the carbon fiber and like products known in the marketplace today. We believe that a properly engineered composite exoskeleton will bring a safer and lighter vehicle to the marketplace.

The aerodynamics seen on the Wave II are a product of many hours with engineering and many hours in the wind tunnel. The vehicle is showing numbers in the wind tunnel that were once only possible with something more resembling a motorcycle. The EVI Wave II is a vehicle that has all the creature comforts we have grown used to such as heating, air conditioning, power windows, gps etc. and can still transport all the weeks groceries and more in the rear of the vehicle.

The starting range with the minimum battery pack comes in at around 120 miles and can be expanded to over 300 miles per charge
