Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Network (EVIN) is a company dedicated to making the promise of clean energy transportation a reality through a battery exchange infrastructure network for electric vehicles that adheres to the American automotive culture and driving experience. Created around the idea of an exchange battery electric vehicle (EBEV), EVIN's patented process embodies the idea that electric cars can “refuel” simply by swapping out a standard sized battery pack and immediately return to driving.

We believe consumers should be able to have the same driving experience, whether being propelled by fossil fuels or electricity.

BEV is a standard sized American 4-door Saturn car, 100% electric powered, and which can be driven just as we have driven gas-powered cars for the last century. Our technologies enable the capability to convert, or manufacture, existing US front-wheel-drive cars to 100% electric, with both Plug-In and Battery Exchange capabilities. Depending on driving characteristics, BEV travels 60- 90 miles on a single charge, a charge that costs approximately $1.97.

The Progressive Auto X PRIZE competition provides us a valuable forum to demonstrate our NextGen EBEV and to encourage the development of new EV models, new battery technologies, and new clean transportation products and services by individual EV enthusiasts, manufacturers, and academic groups across the nation and world.

An EBEV allows consumers to drive anywhere, anytime, and not be limited by distance away from a charging station, or limited by the time to recharge, or being prevented from obtaining the benefits of clean energy transportation due the size of their family or economic status.
