Team Bio

American HyPower is excited to have the opportunity to introduce our technology during the Progressive Automotive X PRIZE. Our competition vehicle meets or exceeds all of the minimum requirements established in the X PRIZE guidelines.

Our team of entrepreneurs, engineers and business people have created an affordable, sustainable, clean burning technology which can be adapted by any combustion powered vehicle. Not only are we pushing the development and integration of super efficient fuel technologies for future vehicles, we are interested in extending such technologies to existing vehicles. This is a defining feature of our technology and our team.

We look forward to demonstrating our production vehicle’s ability to achieve a minimum of 100 MPGe with close to zero emissions during the Spring of 2010.

How did you become involved in the team?
Two of our teammates created an alternative energy device for home use. In Oct ‘08, I read about the PIAXP and thought it was a perfect forum for testing the device.
