For those of you concerned with Aptera's road safety, I had my reservations about it, too, when I first saw it. But then I learned more about its structure and safety standards. The lightweight resin shell is surprisingly tough! Stronger than the typical metal sheet panels on a car. You can pound it with sledgehammers or stack a car on it or roll it over, no dent, not even a scratch! You can check out the safety tests on you tube, or contact the company directly. Aptera is amazing. If it wasn't safe, I wouldn't buy it!
