A: The Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE Fan Favorite Sweepstakes is a voting campaign that is designed as a platform for fans to share their opinions and to discover more about the Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE vehicles featured on the www.progressiveautoxprize.org website from June 17, 2010 to September 6, 2010.

Q: How will it work?
A: Voting will be broken up into four different elections. At each election, fans will be asked to select a vehicle that they feel best represents the question asked of that election:

• Election 1) Which vehicle do you find the most STYLISH?
• Election 2) Which vehicle do you find most INNOVATIVE?
• Election 3) Which vehicle do you find most PRACTICAL?
• Election 4) Which vehicle would you most WANT to own?

Q: What happens if I miss an election?
A: You can always vote in upcoming elections. Your votes in each election will count towards the sweepstakes for that election and also towards the Grand Prize. You have the opportunity to vote once a day every day during each election. The more times you vote, the greater your chances of winning.

Q: How do I vote?
A: New fans will register or returning fans will sign in, click on any of the links to the Fan Favorite Sweepstakes and follow the instructions to vote. Required fields in registration will be limited to first name, last name, email address, and country of residence.

Q: How old do I have to be in order to vote?
A: You must be 18 years of age or older as of 12:00 AM PDT on June 17, 2010 in order to vote.

Q: Who can vote?
A: Anyone 18 years of age or older can vote, although only legal residents of the U.S. have the chance to win a prize in the sweepstakes. Employees of the X PRIZE Foundation, Progressive Corporation, AMCI Group, their affiliates, subsidiaries, management companies, advertising agencies and marketing companies, and the immediate families of any of their respective employees or persons with whom such employees are domiciled are not eligible to win the sweepstakes.

Q: When can I vote?
A: Voting will open on June 17, 2010, and run through September 6, 2010. Voting is divided into four separate elections:

• Election 1) Most STYLISH: Polls will be open June 17, 2010, through July 5, 2010.
• Election 2) Most INNOVATIVE: Polls will be open July 6, 2010, through July 26, 2010.
• Election 3) Most PRACTICAL: Polls will be open July 27, 2010, through August 16, 2010.
• Election 4) Most WANTED: Polls will be open August 17, 2010, through September 6, 2010.

Q: How many times can I vote?
A: Registered users can vote once per day from 12:00:00 AM to 11:59:59 PM, United States Pacific Time.

Q: How do I find out the results?
A: The winning Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE Competition vehicle of each election will be announced online shortly following the end of that election period. The winning fan of each election and the Grand Prize winner will be based on a random drawing. Winning fans will be notified directly through the contact information provided at time of registration (e-mail address for online entries and telephone number for postal entries) and will have to verify their identity, age and US residency. Q: What’s being done about automatic, programmed or robotic entries?
A: Entry into the sweepstakes requires fans to complete a multi-step registration and voting confirmation process.

Q: How do I enter for a chance to win one of the prizes?
A: No purchase is necessary. The Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents only that are 18 years of age or older. By voting in each of the four elections, eligible fans are automatically entered for a chance to win the prize in each of the individual elections. All votes from eligible fans throughout all four elections will be entered for a chance to win the Grand Prize.

Q: What are my chances of winning any of the prizes?
A: Odds of winning any of the prizes will depend upon the number of eligible entries received throughout all four elections. If you vote once every day, your chances of winning will be higher.

Q: How are winning fans selected for each election?
A: One winning fan will be selected at random at the close of each election from all of the votes collected during that election.

Q: What is the prize for fans after each election?
A: The prize for each election will be an exclusive Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE jacket.

Q: How are winning fans selected for the Grand Prize?
A: One winning fan who has voted in any of the elections will be selected at random at the close of the fourth election. The more you vote during every Election, the higher your chances of winning.

Q: What is the Grand Prize for fans after the final election?
A: The Grand Prize will be $3,000 plus an exclusive Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE jacket. Winners are responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes.

Q: If I am a prize winner, how will I be notified?
A: Winning fans will be notified through the e-mail address they provided at the time of online registration or via a telephone number provided on the postal entries. Winning Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE Competition teams will be notified by the X PRIZE Foundation.

Q: What is the prize for competing X PRIZE teams that win the most votes in each of the elections?
A: Winning teams for each election will receive special recognition online at progressiveautoxprize.org and within media communication.

Q: Will my vote help influence the outcome of the Progressive Automotive X PRIZE?
A: All votes are extremely important to the teams participating. While fan votes will not directly influence the final winner of the Competition, teams with the most votes during each election will be crowned the “Fan Favorite” winner for that election.
