LETTER OF INTENT PROGRAM

The Progressive Automotive X PRIZE Letter of Intent program is designed to allow teams that plan to enter the competition a way to officially announce their intent to do so. Teams who sign a non-binding letter of intent and submit a refundable registration fee will receive:

The official "Progressive Automotive X PRIZE Contender" logo for use on team website(s) and materials
Priority attention to comments and questions about the Progressive Automotive X PRIZE Competition Guidelines and a guaranteed response to those comments from the Progressive Automotive X PRIZE team
Timely updates on competition developments
Invitations to competition kick-off and other special pre-competition events

Teams join the Letter of Intent (LOI) program will still need to submit a formal application for the Progressive Automotive X PRIZE competition once the competition is formally announced and the final acceptance criteria and competition rules are determined. Acceptance into the Letter of Intent (LOI) program does not imply that the team's vehicle design has been judged to meet the competition's entrance criteria, or that a subsequent formal application will be accepted.
